All of our packaging products are 100% compostable, and therefore the "plastic" looking lid is in fact not plastic at all!

The covers we use on all of our containers are made from a corn-starch based bioplastic with a much lower temperature threshold than typical synthetic plastics that is 100% food safe and non-toxic!

...So not to worry! Even if the lid to your take-out meal looks melted, it is PERFECTLY normal and just the results of super hot fresh food and it's 100% safe!
